Verified ReviewerI faced serious issues during my NueGo bus journey from Madurai to Coimbatore, including failed AC, discomfort due to sealed windows, and being dropped off before the booked stop.
The AC stopped working midway near Palladam, and since the bus had sealed windows, it became very hot and uncomfortable. I experienced mild breathing discomfort. Despite booking till Saibaba Colony, the bus stopped near Gandhipuram and I was forced to arrange private transport.
Preferred solution: Price reduction

On May 5, I booked a ticket through the RedBus app (Ticket ID: #TU674072****) and traveled with Ayya Travels on the same day. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the service:
- The bus did not arrive on time.
- When I contacted the driver, he responded irresponsibly.
- Upon reaching the pickup location, I was not informed, and I had to find the bus myself.
- The bus arrived at the destination much later than expected.
Due to these issues, I rated the service 2 stars via your app and provided comments regarding my experience.
However, I noticed that my review now shows 5 stars, and my comments are missing.

On 23rd April, I booked two sleeper bus tickets from Kelambakkam to Valliyur at 8:15 PM. At the pickup time, the bus broke down, and the driver arranged that he would refund the amount.
Still, I didn't receive any amount.

After this when I catched my bus from Melkar I saw my seats are wet because there is a AC leakage and my travelling is not at all comfortable

I got details by SMS Bus No : UK07PA4984.
I arrived ISBT bus station and check same mentioned bus number till 06;30.
Same number bus not arrived.
I call to driver.
They told me Bus has been left from ISBT station and Bus No is : DL51EV1624.
It's not my fault and redbus take this responsibility for share wrong bus number. And refund my money.
I have not got my refund
I cancelled my ticket on 22 Feb 2025
It's been 3 days since I cancelled my ticket but my money is not refunded till today
Same thing happened to me 3 months before on the date 26 November 2024

I traveled with S N Travel from Surat to Indore on 11th April 2025, and it was a complete nightmare. The bus was in pathetic condition the charging point was not working, no water was provided, and overall hygiene was poor.
The curtains were torn and useless, making the journey even more uncomfortable.
Definitely not a professional travel agency.
I would never recommend this service to anyone. Save your money and choose a better operator.

On 23rd April 2025, I was booking a ticket for Chennai to Bangalore for SRS Travels to travel on 24th April 2025 as the travel date. I paid 550 Rs through a credit card, but the ticket didn't generate.
Later, the ticket generated for 23rd April 2025 on the same day before the bus departure.
The travel company called me that my ticket is booked for 23rd April 2025, though I had booked for 24th April 2025. Please refund my amount because of your technical glitch.

I am writing to express my outrage and disgust at the horrendous experience I had with Sri Vaari Travels, booked through RedBus, for the Bangalore to Pondicherry journey on the night of 30th October 2024. This incident is not just an inconvenience; it is a glaring safety violation and a severe failure of customer service.I arrived at the designated boarding point (Marthahalli) at 10:45 pm, only to find the bus missing.
Despite multiple calls to both the driver and the travel operator, I was repeatedly told they would "arrive in 10 minutes"a blatant lie. I waited on the side of a road in the rain, helpless.
Finally, at 1:15 am, I received a call from the driver, telling me to go to a completely different stop 15 km away, at the "Silk Board" location, alone and in the middle of the night.I am a female traveller, and you had the audacity to put me in a situation where I had to risk my safety by traveling 15 km alone at night in order to board the bus. To make matters worse, after calling me to a different stop, I received messages threatening to leave me behind if I did not arrive in 10 minutes. This is not just poor customer serviceit is criminal negligence.
I attempted to contact RedBus customer support multiple times during this ordeal.
Not once did anyone answer, forcing me to fend for myself in an extremely unsafe situation.
This is a total failure of your services.I am attaching screenshots of my conversations with the bus driver, along with call logs that show the multiple attempts I made to contact both the driver and the operator.
You can clearly see the negligence and the lack of any responsible communication.This entire experience was appalling, and I demand immediate action.
This level of customer neglect and safety irresponsibility is intolerable. I expect a formal apology, a full refund, and assurances that no other customer will be subjected to such a dangerous and poorly managed situation again.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the abysmal and frankly dangerous service I experienced on one of your buses on the 6th of June. The bus in question is WB-19G-5091 operating on the Karunamoyee to Asansol route, Green Line Services.
The journey was not only extremely uncomfortable but also posed a significant safety risk to all passengers due to multiple serious failings on the part of your staff and a complete disregard for passenger safety and comfort.
The key issues I wish to bring to your immediate attention are as follows:
* Non-functional air conditioning: Despite the prevailing weather conditions, the air conditioning unit on the bus was not operational at all. This created an incredibly stuffy and oppressive atmosphere inside the vehicle.
* Unprofessional conduct of the conductor: When passengers, including myself, pointed out the non-functional air conditioning, the conductor outright denied the issue. Instead of acknowledging the fault and offering any form of assistance or explanation, he was dismissive and uncooperative. This lack of accountability is unacceptable.
* Severe and dangerous overcrowding: The primary and most alarming issue was the severe overcrowding on the bus. Despite all seats being occupied, the bus operator continued to board an additional 4-5 passengers. This resulted in a situation where people were forced to sit on the floor of the bus, a clear violation of safety regulations.
* Gross misuse of designated seating: Further compounding the overcrowding issue, the small seat designated for the conductor, located next to the driver, was occupied by three individuals. This is not only a blatant disregard for safety protocols but also a potential distraction for the driver.
The combination of a non-functional air conditioning system and extreme overcrowding created a claustrophobic and deeply uneasy environment for all passengers. It was difficult to breathe, and the overall conditions were inhumane.
I have attached photographic evidence of the overcrowding, clearly showing passengers sitting on the floor and the cramped conditions.
This level of service is utterly unacceptable and reflects a complete failure in your operational and safety standards. I demand a prompt and thorough investigation into this incident. I expect a formal response from you detailing the following:
* An acknowledgment of this complaint.
* A step-by-step explanation of the resolution you will undertake to address the issues raised.
* Confirmation of the specific actions that will be taken against the bus operator and the conductor for their negligence and unprofessional behavior.
* The measures you will implement to ensure that such a hazardous and unpleasant experience is not repeated in the future.
I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. I look forward to your swift response and a satisfactory resolution.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund.
I never thought I would write something like this, but today's experience has left me heartbroken.
I had booked a seat through the **RedBus app** for the **7:30 AM Royal Travels bus from Ujjain to Indore**. Due to minor traffic, I reached the stop at **7:31 AM**just **one minute late**.
But the bus had already left. I immediately asked for help and was given a **tracking ID**, but sadly, the **tracking was OFF**.
I was there with my own vehicle and could have caught the bus in minutesif only tracking worked. That one minute and everything fell apart.
At the Ujjain counter, a lady assured me with kindness that she would **adjust me in the next bus at 8:15 AM**, and she even gave me seat numbers **B1, B2, C1, and C2**. For a moment, I felt heard safe.
But soon after, everything changed. The staff **denied what they had promised**, spoke **rudely**, and treated me like I didnt matter.
**Why? Just because I was one minute late?**
I wasnt careless. I tried.
I ran. I reached. But no one cared. I was left standing therealone, humiliated, and in tears.
Aap logon ke liye shayad ek passenger hoon, lekin mere liye yeh ek emotional breakdown tha.
RedBus par bharosa kiya tha, par aaj jo treatment mila, usne dil tor diya.
I request you to take serious action against the **Royal Travels staff** at Ujjain and to improve your **tracking system**, so no other passenger feels this helpless and invisible.
Please respond. Because my trust is shatteredbut still hoping someone will care.
